40W LED Driver Power User Guide
1. Input Voltage
- This LED driver supports a wide input voltage range of AC 100V to 240V with a frequency of 50/60Hz, making it suitable for various power standards worldwide.
2. Output No-load Voltage
- When the driver is in a no-load state (current I=0mA), the output voltage ranges from 25-40V±5%. Ensure the input voltage is between AC 100V and 240V, and the driver is tested in Constant Voltage (CV) mode.
3. Output Load Voltage
- Under normal load conditions (current I=1000mA), the output voltage is 38V±5%. This should be tested in CV mode with the input voltage maintained between AC 100V and 240V.
4. Output Ripple and Noise
- The maximum output ripple and noise under a 1000mA load is 380mV. For testing, connect interference suppression capacitors (100nF∥10uF) at the output to ensure stability and reduce electromagnetic interference.
5. Power Factor
- The power factor of the driver is not less than 0.8, ensuring good energy efficiency and suitability for energy-saving lighting applications.
6. Short Circuit Protection
- The driver features built-in short circuit protection. In the event of a short circuit, the power supply will automatically stop outputting. Once the short circuit is removed, the driver will resume normal operation, ensuring safe use.
7. Overcurrent Protection
- The driver has overcurrent protection, with the output current controlled within 1000mA±5%. Test this in CV mode with the input voltage between AC 100V and 240V.
8. Input Current
- The maximum input current is 0.7A under full load (1000mA), making it suitable for various applications and meeting safety standards.
9. No-load Power Consumption
- The power consumption of the driver is ≤0.1W in no-load conditions, making it an energy-efficient solution for environmentally friendly lighting systems.
10. Withstand Voltage Test
- The driver has undergone a strict withstand voltage test, with no abnormal noise or breakdown under the condition of AC 3500V for 2 seconds at 10mA. This test between the input and output or the casing ensures the product’s safety and reliability.
11. Insulation Resistance
- The insulation resistance of the product is ≥100MΩ, tested between the input and output at 500VDC, ensuring excellent insulation performance and minimizing the risk of electrical leakage.
Usage Recommendations
- During installation and use, ensure the environmental conditions meet the product’s requirements, avoiding extreme conditions such as high temperature and humidity that could affect the device's performance.
- Regularly check the output voltage and current of the power supply to ensure it remains within the specified range, ensuring the normal operation of LED lights.
- In case of abnormal situations such as short circuits or overcurrent, promptly address the issue and check if the power supply returns to normal operation.
