“We had just submitted our application when the relevant authorities promptly disbursed over 130,000 yuan in employment‑stabilization subsidies—both surprising and heartwarming. Although our company faces significant operational pressures, ‘confidence is more valuable than gold’ right now, and we are fully confident about the future. This year, we plan to achieve a sales target of 1 billion yuan,” Yang Guobiao, Executive Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Suoyuan Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters yesterday.
At the beginning of this month, eight departments in Shenzhen jointly issued the “Several Measures to Further Support Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises in Overcoming Difficulties and Achieving High-Quality Development.” These measures not only build on previously well‑received policies but also address the short-, medium- and long-term development needs of small, medium and micro enterprises, helping them to thrive.
Throughout every stage of its development, Suoyuan Technology has benefited from supportive policies and measures. In January last year, the company received over 1.1 million yuan in funding for nurturing high‑tech enterprises from the relevant authorities. This funding was allocated to research and development in green products and energy conservation and emissions reduction, resulting in the innovative design of a 2–5 kW photovoltaic‑battery hybrid home energy storage system. The system converts solar energy into direct current and stores it in batteries for reusable use. With annual shipments exceeding 50,000 units, the product has helped save more than 50 million kWh of energy and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 49,800 tons.
“The government’s targeted relief policies and measures have propelled enterprises toward high-quality development, and our company is, in turn, giving back in a meaningful way,” said Yang Guobiao. As a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprise, Suoyuan Technology has partnered with Kunming to co‑build an electronic components workshop under the Rural Revitalization Initiative, which is expected to provide stable employment for more than 1,500 workers over the next six years.
“As a high-tech manufacturing company that serves the global market and focuses on the development, production, and sales of power‑supply products, Suoyuan Technology has relied heavily on government support—particularly the various forms of assistance it has received from Shenzhen’s municipal and district governments over the past three years,” said Yang Guobiao. Thanks to wave after wave of favorable policies, Suoyuan Technology has enjoyed strong operational performance and sustained revenue growth. In 2021, its operating income surged past the RMB 400 million mark, reaching RMB 407.5 million—a nearly 150% increase compared with the previous year.
The policy measures have not only helped Suoyuan Technology overcome its survival challenges but have also created opportunities for exploring multiple fields and achieving high-quality development. Over the past three years, Suoyuan Technology has developed its own brand, with products now exported to markets around the world. At the same time, the company has remained committed to innovative R&D, launching a series of complementary products such as outdoor energy-storage inverters and bidirectional outdoor energy-storage inverters, aligning with market demand and gradually capturing a meaningful share of the outdoor bidirectional energy-storage inverter segment.
He stated that Suoyuan Technology files for and obtains numerous global patents each year. Currently, the company holds three invention patents, ten design patents, twenty-one utility‑model patents, and three software copyrights, and has been honored with awards such as the “19th Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record Award,” the “20th Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record Award,” and the designation of “Shenzhen Model Unit for Cultivating Skilled Craftsmen.”
At present, Suoyuan Technology is leveraging favorable government policies to steadily deepen its presence in the electronic power‑supply industry, striving toward its vision of becoming a globally reputable and trusted power‑supply manufacturer.
