To inspire employees’ enthusiasm for learning, enhance their professional skills, and provide a platform for mutual learning and exchange, the company’s trade union, in light of its own circumstances, actively organized a workplace‑skill competition on June 2. Adhering to the principles of practical relevance, tangible results, strengthened communication, and skill improvement, the competition featured nine events—component insertion, soldering with a soldering iron, shell welding, shell assembly, folding colored boxes, testing, labeling, screw fastening, and aging‑and‑rack‑placement—with a total of 54 employees participating.
During the competition, the contestants demonstrated skillful techniques and remained calm under pressure, effectively showcasing their operational expertise. Company President Yang personally attended the event to offer encouragement to all participants. After more than two hours of intense competition, the final results awarded first-, second-, and third-place honors to 19 contestants.
At the conclusion of the competition, General Manager Yang delivered a summarizing address, calling on all employees to seize this opportunity—the job‑skill contest—to spark a company‑wide wave of emulation, learning, striving, mutual assistance, and surpassing one another. He urged them to hone their expertise, diligently master their job skills, rapidly boost production efficiency, ensure product quality, and achieve all set objectives, thereby making a positive contribution to the company’s rapid development. General Manager Yang’s resolute and impassioned remarks were met with warm applause from the entire workforce; the applause reverberated throughout the workshop, resonating in the hearts of the participants, and marked the successful conclusion of this job‑skill competition.
During the competition, employee Wen Shaoqing completed 100 color boxes in 7 minutes and 10 seconds, taking first place; Pu Xiaohui affixed 100 labels in 7 minutes and 30 seconds, also claiming first place. In each event, the contestants demonstrated skillful techniques, remained calm under pressure, and fully showcased their operational expertise. Company General Manager Yang personally attended the scene to cheer on the participants. After more than two hours of intense competition, the final results awarded first-, second-, and third-place honors to a total of 19 contestants.
