1. Definition of Conflict Minerals
The mining of rare metals such as cassiterite, wolframite, coltan, iron ore and gold in the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries and regions has caused serious human rights and environmental problems. Most of the mining activities in these areas are related to (funded) armed organizations in conflict, causing long-term instability in the area, so they are called "conflict minerals"
2. Policy of Conflict Minerals from Shenzhen SOY Technology Co., Ltd (Hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen SOY")
(1). Shenzhen SOY does not accept materials containing or adding "conflict minerals" from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries and regions;
(2). Shenzhen SOY will trace the source of tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold contained in the product.
3. Supplier requirements from Shenzhen SOY
(1). Comply with the conflict minerals policy and extend it to the supply chain;
(2). Ensure that the product does not use "conflict minerals" from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries and regions;
(3). Take the initiative to fill in the EICC version of the conflict mineral survey form truthfully, and ensure that the smelters involved are included in the list of compliant smelters published by EICC.
